A small selfhosted server by internet user Pokadex
Intro
Hi, I'm Pokadex, a 20-40 year old confirmed autismo from the cornfields. This site is hosted from my home on an old ThinkPad P50 running Proxmox, with a plain Debian 13 container running the site. I've wanted to self-host for a long time and never knew where to start. While installing AzerothCore in a VM on my main PC, it clicked that my game and main PC would run better if the game server compute lived somewhere else. I sat on that for a while, then remembered the P50 collecting dust from an impulse buy. I wiped it, put Proxmox on it, and that's how we got here. Funny how wanting to play single player World of Warcraft was what got the ball rolling for me.
While anything listed on my homepage is free to use, It's really just for my personal use and I won't be providing any support. This is a fun project for me and I just don't have it in me to do customer service. So use at your own risk.
I WILL NEVER READ ANY DATA THAT PASSES THROUGH THE SERVICES I PROVIDE. I simply don't care enough to check honestly.
